Semiconductor Industry Veteran Dave Timm Named To Head Rapidly Growing Wireless Startup

Palo Alto, Calif. — July 25, 2006 — H-Stream Wireless, a developer of low-power wireless semiconductor solutions, announced today the appointment of Dave Timm as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Timm has also been named to the company's board of directors.

Timm joins H-Stream from analog/mixed-signal chipmaker Maxim Integrated Products, where he founded and was Managing Director of the firm's Notebook Power Business Unit. During his 15-year tenure at Maxim, Timm grew his product lines, which comprised hundreds of power management products for notebook computers, smart battery packs, and TFT-LCD panels for displays, to combined annual revenue of over $250 million.
