H-Stream Wireless Names Seasoned Semiconductor Executive as VP of Engineering — Wireless Expert Mike Schwartz Brings H-Stream Three Decades of Engineering Management Experience

Palo Alto, Calif. — July 25, 2006 — H-Stream Wireless, a developer of low-power wireless semiconductor solutions, announced today that Mike Schwartz has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering. This important addition to H-Stream's executive staff follows the recent appointment of Dave Timm as Chief Executive Officer.

Schwartz has over 30 years of experience directing engineering teams, including over 25 years at National Semiconductor, where he built and directed several design engineering groups focused on low-power IC development for applications that include cellular phones and wireless LANs. Most recently, Schwartz was Vice President of Wi-Fi R&D for fabless semiconductor company DSP Group, where he spearheaded development of chips and software for Wi-Fi applications.

Earlier this year, H-Stream announced the addition of a team of Wi-Fi experts to its engineering group and establishment of a design center in the United Kingdom. The company is actively recruiting engineering talent at both its U.S. and U.K. locations.
